Improving remote working by understanding the world of Work Energy
Vyou is a startup in the HR Tech sector that sets out to improve how remote working should be for the individual employee that works remotely, and for the employee inside a remote team - thorough the analysis of his Work Energy. It offers teams and their members both managers and workers to actually coach themselves about their behaviour at work and how it affects their energy levels, leading to hopefully better understand what works for them and become better at what they do professionally and having a larger impact by their work in the company.
We teamed up with Vyou at the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic which, oddly but happily gave us the opportunity to be a practitioners of remote working.

Finding the right tone
Every project starts better with an exploration stage which differ in how it being deployed from project to project. Here the idea was to kickstart Vyou new product and website assets as soon as possible and actually putting the brand out there to start gaining customers interest and traction to the upcoming product to be launched. We went to a full discovery research, at the beginning focusing on Marketing and Brand Design to gather some ideas and get a glimpse of how we want the brand to be portrayed initially.

Creating the Vyou Story through the new website design
As this was the first thing we’ve decided to tackle in terms of the brand and tone of voice the white canvas of a new homepage enabled us to think thoulhulgy and clearly how the brand should be displayed and how the value proposition of Vyou’s upcoming offering and the product could benefit our potential clients and users.
Vyou's new logo – The Signal
One of the things we had to establish before kick starting the new homepage design was to find Vyou’s voice as a brand and how it can be represented visually. The search was after a logo that could communicate the sentiments of Energy, Communication, Working in the Digital Era and AI Coaching. The Signal shape we’ve design is undoubtedly holds this guarantee, the purple based gradient ripple rounds communicates exactly that and also hints to the world of AI and Coaching assistant as this is something might also happen for Vyou.

Creating a communication system
The Signal shape we’ve designed undoubtedly holds this guarantee, the purple based gradient ripple rounds communicates exactly that and also hints to the world of AI and Coaching Assistant as this is something might also be part of Vyou's offering in the future.
Enhancing the brand with illustration work
Illustration makes the brand more lively and human. The visual language that was developed is very much in the geometric and digital space and so are the illustrations - designed and painted in a very minimalistic manner, the characters are based only on vector based, square with radius or circle based shapes. That creates a visual that works really well with the logo, the signal and with with the brand characteristics and tone.
The combination of light palette as backgrounds and the navy blue as a leading color creates a very minimalistic and approachable tone. Illustrations are simple-looking and approachable.
Vyou. The View of You
Vyou is all about empowering today’s workers that are working remotely in the digital era with tools, support and a product that will help them move from self reflection to bettering themselvess and becoming better at work -  achieving both their personal and team goals.
Homepage and Marketing Design
We’ve started the homepage design process as we’re expanding our understanding of Vyou and what is it really that will be beneficial and will bring value to potential users in their target market. The vision was to create something that will feel lightweight, easy-to-use and approachable and one that will communicate the brand and will expose new customers to Vyou’s story and offerings.
Geometric & Lightweight
The design is very much based on white. The domain colors are Teal, purple and navy. We used a combination of really light backdrops with geometric patterns and from the other hand, to add contrast distinction between areas while also keeping users interest while scrolling - more darker backdrops which in that case would include almost only big text elements.
Product & User Experience
Tools for Work Energy Management
Vyou’s promise is to enable teams and companies to better manage Work Energy within their team members. The dashboard we designed includes an day-to-day work energy enquiries component, stats and infographics and a manager interface to be able to handle the more technical tasks in the product as creating teams, user settings and privacy levels.
UX Context
Making it about you
The MVP of Vyou and what is actually the core foundation of the product is the display of your work energy for you to be able to track and see how it fluctuates day by day. The most essential value users get except of being able to track their work energy history is getting recommendations tailored specifically for them regard to how to improve, based on their past tracking.
There was an importance to make this recommendation stand out, and take it to another level other then just plain labels so we decided to output a unique poster, utilising the brand colourful and geometric based visual language to create something more creative and substantial. Users can choose to either save, print it or maybe even share it on social media and by this approach we can create a much more more memorable and unique experience for users each week,
Storytelling for Social
Social media channels as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn are crucial aspect of marketing and does deserve an important attention in terms of design, and visual design. We planned this assets for Instagram but they do translate well on each platform only with slight proportion and resolution changes. These are based on the visual language we developed, and also accommodate more trends related aspects, with the goal of them being viral on social, that affected on the design choices was made.
